Carpal Tunnel syndrome is characterised by the persisting numbness or burning sensation in pain or wrist due to the compression of the median nerve which travels through the carpal tunnel. It is more prevalent in night due to the various sleeping positions. The tingling sensation caused in carpal tunnel syndrome may extend even to shoulder and neck area.

  • Hot water treatment is also helpful. You can hold a warm compress or a heating pad against your wrists as the heat will help to increase circulation and decrease inflammation.
